This dog lover's apparel is inspired by my two rescues, Duke and Daisy—two beautiful dogs who came with only a name. All apparel designs are original, based on their personalities and the true stories from the great memories we share.
Duke was rescued at 12 months old—a German Shepherd who had spent most of his life in a crate. He came to me extremely underweight at 80 lbs, with no social skills, was food aggressive, and not housebroken. After a few weeks of training and establishing myself as the pack leader, he grew into the protective big brother I never had and now lives a happy, loved life. Daisy came two years later. By then, Duke had grown to 155 lbs, while Daisy, who had been bounced from shelter to shelter, weighed just 45 lbs. She fought for weeks to take over the alpha position (a role most German Shepherds wouldn’t easily give up), but they finally settled into being inseparable best friends!
